a stunning spin on your summer shorts

this lace romper is easily one of my favorite pieces of clothing that i own. i love how simple the front is and i'm absolutely in love with the lace detail on the back. it's so feminine and versatile enough to be casual or dressy with just the change of a few accessories. for a more laid-back look, i paired my romper with a skinny brown belt, a floral clutch and some gold strappy sandals. i also threw on my sunnies, a long crystal necklace, some gold rings and my new favorite accessory- my gold metal clasp hair tie. to transition into an evening look, i wore my black and gold strappy stilettos, a statement necklace, some stacked bracelets, and my gold watch. i switched out my low pony for a high pony and my floral clutch for a leopard print one to polish off this glammed up ensemble.

shorts are one of my favorite summer staples. they are a go to for me because they are so easy to style, whether you are hanging out during the day or going out at night shorts a simple way to transform your look. not to mention, they are a great way to beat the heat. shorts also come in loads of different styles, prints, lengths etc...making them accessible to all fashionistas. the pair i'm sporting here i love, they are super comfortable and they are printed, but not too in your face making them a dream to style. for a daytime look, i paired them with a light grey sweater brown sandals and a bright summer bag to add a little something extra! to dress them up a tad, i put on a drapey white blouse and some nude wedges. shorts are great but printed shorts are a chic summertime statement, keep the top neutral and you are good to go.
