skirts and sweatshirts

do you ever have those days where you just want to wear something fancy? maybe its just me but i have those days where i just feel a little more glam than usual. on days like those i reach for something like my black pleated skirt with faux leather trim. it is simple to style because it does all the work for you! for a daytime less dressy look i paired the pleated skirt with my favorite tee of the moment (courtesy of sarah kelly - thank you doll) and some black booties. to dress it up i paired the skirt with this black faux tuck tank and some strappy stilettos. i added one of my favorite statement necklaces, a black clutch and a red lip to complete the look.

erin's day look: pleated skirt target (similar here), i heart roma tee gift, black booties target (similar here).

erin's evening look: black tank nordstrom, statement necklace jcrew, black pumps target, black clutch h&m, lips revlon lip butter in wild watermelon.

it's september and even though it's almost 100 degrees outside, i like to pretend it's fall. it's my favorite season and i just can't wait for boots, scarves and all things pumpkin. this sweatshirt is perfect for lounging around the house AND wearing on an evening out. for a relaxed look (perfect for  everyone who are back to school), this comfy crew neck is great with the sleeves rolled up, a pair of boyfriend jeans and some studded flats. to transform from comfy to chic, this sweatshirt goes great with a high waisted skater skirt, a glam statement necklace, some ankle strap heels and a berry lip. anyone else ready for fall?

sarah's day look: sweatshirt cotton on- some of my faves hereherehere, and here, boyfriend jeans abercrombie and fitch, studded flats urban outfitters similar herehere and here, bag marc by marc jacobs, sunglasses h&m.

sarah's evening look: skirt penney's similar here, heels cathy jean , clutch forever 21 similar here, necklace next similar here, aviators ray bannyx butter gloss devil's food cake.

keep it chic xo
