one of the greatest challenges of transitioning from the colder months to warmer ones is knowing what to do with your favorite fall items. do you simply pack them up or leave them tucked away in the back of the closet until october? the answer is no my friends! i'm not saying keep the winter coats handy but i do think some fall pieces can be worn year round. one of my fall essentials are these olive jeans. paring them with nautical colors can really soften up the darker denim making them a little bit more spring appropriate. for the first look i threw on this red and white striped tee, some white converse and aviators. this is the perfect outfit for taking a stroll in the park. to dress up my olive jeans i paired them with a drapey royal blue top, some black pumps, a fancy black handbag, simple jewelry and of course red lips! be creative and don't put away all of your fall favs just yet!
When it comes to style, finding something that is both stylish and comfortable can be somewhat of a challenge; especially for evening looks. that is why i am absolutely obsessed with my boyfriend jeans. what i love the most about them is how something so comfy and relaxed can be so adaptable for an easygoing or dressed up look. my favorite way to style my boyfriend jeans for a laid-back look is with a comfy white deep v-neck. i just give it an easy tuck into the front of my jeans and add a long strand necklace to add a little something to my carefree tee. i kept it casual by wearing black loafers and carrying my neverfull tote. if you want to cozy up this look on a chilly spring night, a chunky sweater is the perfect addition. when i want to dress up my boyfriend jeans a black lacy tank is the perfect choice to add a little glamour to the outfit. i wore my black and gold strappy heels and my chunky gold chain necklace to add a little glitz to this black and white ensemble. i topped it off with a crisp white blazer and envelope purse. hopefully this will inspire you to stray from your skinny jeans once in a while and give this boyfriend a chance!
