remember when you were a kid and it was all about the skort? it was the best of both worlds! i could climb jungle gyms and play kickball all while satisfying my mom's need to get me in a skirt. they were a great compromise for us tomboys. well now, skorts are back and better than ever! the design of this envelope skort gives it some edge- nothing like my knee length khaki one i owned in middle school. for a more carefree look, it's perfect with a loose fitting tee and my leopard print flats were a fun way to mix up this black and white ensemble. for a more dolled up look, i switched out my black tee for a simple tank and a leather jacket for the chilly evening. i added a lustrous statement necklace and then my black strappy stilettos to elongate my legs in the short skirt.
it's no secret that i absolutly adore my florals. so, when i laid eyes on this boho inspired maxi, i knew i had to have it. boho, floral and maxi in one...hello perfection! to dress the look down a bit i kept it super simple with black sandals, round sunnies and of course a black floppy hat. for jewelry, i put on gold hoops and a couple of dainty rings. i converted my black cross body into a clutch and called it a day. to glam this one up i put on my favorite black stilettos, layered some gold necklaces and added a few bracelets. i grabbed my black wristlet and headed for the door.
keep it chic xo
