dreaming in drapes

these black woven pants are a dream come true. not only are they extremely comfy but they also go with almost everything in my closet. they're perfect for running your daily errands or for a date night. for a relaxed look, i threw on an oversized white tee and gave it an easy front tuck. i wore my turquoise statement necklace and matched it with some strappy studded sandals. on a cooler day, i just throw my oatmeal sweater on to stay warm. for a glammed up look, i rolled them a couple times and paired them with my black and nude t-strap heels to lengthen my legs. i stuck with the flowy theme and wore my white drapey faux tuck top. i added a silver chain necklace, studded bracelet, my nude clutch and a bold red lip to add some excitement to my black and white attire.

you know that feeling you get when you are in a store aimlessly flipping through the racks not expecting to find anything then BAM...something magical happens? maybe its just me but i definetly do my best shopping when i am not even trying. that is how this beauty fell into my lap. this creme colored draped top is one of my favs. it fits perfectly and is simple yet elegant. for an easy daytime look i paired the top with cuffed jeans, some blush colored ballet flats and a structured handbag. kept the jewelry simple and threw on my sunnies to complete the look. next for an evening look, i put on my favorite pair of jeans. yes, wide leg jeans. i don't care if they are in or out, i adore mine. i added a couple of bracelets and a printed clutch. a good drapey top is always a friend of mine and a must have for any closet.
