we wear rompers y'all

nothing makes a statement quite like leopard print. i love this bold print just as much as the next girl but, when it comes to leopard, there's a fine line between chic and jersey shore that i'd rather not cross. thats why for my day look i dressed my romper up with some simple metallic ankle strap sandals, layered necklaces and (the always classic) denim jacket. to dress my romper up, i kept it simple again by throwing on a white blazer and some heels. i added a taupe bag and a bright fuchsia lip because, well, why not? summer is the perfect time for bold prints and bright lips and by using some of your year-round simple closet staples you can really bring your outfit together- day or night!

as you all know by now we are huge fans of the romper here at same chic new day. it is hard for me not to fall in love with the chic one piece whenever one catches my eye but... i have to resist the urge due to the fact that i have accumulated quite a few over the years. they are the perfect combination of simple and elegant and above all easy peasy to style. i mean its literally just one piece and your done! this black strapless beauty is one of my favorites, i have worn it to the pool, the club and everywhere in between. for a daytime look i paired the romper with my black and white chevron sandals, black crossbody and my black floppy hat just for fun. to dress it up a bit i paired the black one piece with my denim vest and some black cut out wedges. i added some simple jewelry including one of my favorite necklaces which is a gorge purple gemstone. in my opinion a good romper is just too good to pass up.
