bold and basic

i love basics year round, this is no secret but fall is the perfect time to break them out. i am completely obsessed with this faux tuck top, it is 100% effortlessly chic. it can be easily dressed up or down for whatever the occasion may be. to keep the look casual i paired it with my favorite pair of jeans and some grey suede booties. i tied a navy bandana in my hair because jessie james decker is my current obsesh :) to dress up my favorite basic i simply swapped my jeans for a pair of darker skinnier ones. i also added my black suede pumps and a black handbag to tie the look together. finally, i put my hair up in a low messy bun and threw on some red lipstick.

erin's day look: faux tuck top old navy, jeans hudson, grey booties target similar styles herehere and here.

erin's evening look: skinny jeans american eagle, black suede pumps jessica simpson, gold hoops forever 21, handbag chanel, lips mac red

these military green lace shorts are perfect for the warmer fall weather we've been having. they are easily paired with an oversized sweater or light jacket and the color is perfect for the season. for an effortless look, i paired these lace shorts with a basic boyfriend tee and chunky cardigan. i added some sunnies, a cross body and some fall booties to add some edge to this cozy, delicate look. to glam things up, i wore a tucked in black tank and threw a neutral silk blazer over it. a simple necklace, some arm candy, structured heels and a cross body are all i needed to complete this look for a night out for dinner and drinks with the girls.

sarah's day look: shorts h&m (sold out), v-neck nordstrom (on sale), sweater forever 21 similar here, necklace topshop similar here, sunglasses h&m, booties, crossbody urban outfitters.

sarah's evening look: tank sugar shack, blazer urban outfitters similar here and here, necklace h&m, heels aldo similar here, watch michael kors, spiked bracelet nordstrom, clutch rebecca minkoff.

keep it chic xo
